Please Describe a Project!

Now that you are back at your schools and planning for the start of the school year, please add a comment with a description of a project using GPS and/or GIS that you would like to do with your students this year. Please share your ideas with the group! Thanks. Susan

Frequently Asked Questions?

Please submit your questions as comments in this blog topic. Additionally, please feel free to comment in response to a question posted here. In this way, we can help each other as we start to use the new skills from the workshop. As I receive questions individually, I will also post my responses here since I'm sure that more than one person may have the same question during this implementation phase. Thanks! Susan

Comment with your GPS waypoint here!

When you return home from the workshop, please take a GPS waypoint and record it in a comment here on the MyCOE blog. We will then be able to get a "spatial" perspective and look for patterns in the locations of the MyCOE teachers participating in the workshop. Thank you for collecting and submitting data for the project! Susan

Geographical Data?

All data is measured at some location. Please describe how you can begin to start looking at data in your area of study using GIS. Which topics would you like to research using GIS to provide a geographic context for the project data?
